The utility of the Form

The concept of the circle as a boundary device is an emergent effect of sensibility. It may be congruent with any physical manifestation, but whether it is or not, is or no consequence in itself. The utility of the concept of the form of anything, manifest or imaginary, is external to the form itself.

In other words, a form may by conceived to identify a function, but the form itself is not defined by what it expresses. The utility of the form is relative to form that encloses it.

A word means nothing except how it is interpreted within a language. The utility of the language depends upon the education of the group using the language. The utility of the education depends upon whether it helps development of productivity and trade within a family of groups. This is true for the entire family of forms to the limits of the known universe.

  1. If you draw a circle around a tool such as a hammer or a sword, it means nothing within itself. The meaning of the tool is external to the tool. The meaning is in how the tool is used.

If you draw a circle around a word, it means nothing within itself. It has a set of rules determining its relatedness, which can be verified, but the meaning of the word is external to the word.

If you draw a circle around a discipline such as a religion, it has the same attributes of a tool such as a hammer or a sword, and its words are verified by the rules of the system of the form, but the meaning of the religion is external to the religion.

  2. The complexity of our societies requires a greatly delegated control system. Ancient systems such as embodied in Hinduism, Roman Catholicism, and Islam, all centralize Formality in order to control a broad functional servitude among their multitudes. Intuitive truth is made the property of a ruling elite, and intercession by a priestly class, for the multitude, is substituted in its place with punitive authority.

This is in fact THE sinful aberration from true faith. Each of these three states are major retarders of the world-wide distribution of health, wealth, constructive ideas, and cooperative help . All three are so formally bound by Ancient Law that masses of humanity, caught under their hegemonies, are kept enslaved by ancient ritual no longer relevant in a world thousands of times richer in knowledge and technology than even fifty years ago!

It's appalling 700 million Indians TODAY, in 2007, don't have access to proper toilet facilities. It's appalling that 500 million Muslim women are being whipped and stoned into accepting as the rule of Allah, head to toe coverage, while there is a general neglect of health, and a proper functional education. It's appalling that today, the main concern of the Catholic church is the pederasty of its priesthood and a proscription of the use of condoms as a prophylactic against disease.

    Physicians! Heal yourselves!
